Finally, 3daysofdesign Copenhagen
Finally made it to 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen.
The right size, the right mix of people and brands, good conversations, lunches and dinners, and an optimistic and playful tone throughout, all in one of my favourite cities.
Not exhibiting this time, which let me flow with serendipity and get lost from time to time. The number of Japanese designers and brands showing was a pleasant surprise, and there was time to catch up with friends from Copenhagen and from further away.
A highlight was a boat tour of Nordhavn, the harbour area to the north where the city has been expanding for decades and plans to keep building over the next 30 years. That includes new water defences against rising sea levels, alongside housing, community spaces, and beaches.
The weather was moody, which at least gave us rainbows.

All photos were taken on a disposable Fuji Quicksnap. The quality shows and I think it suits the mood.
